Early voting begins this week for the November 5 federal and state election.
Beginning Wednesday, the Greene County Election Commission office at 311 CCU Boulevard will be open at 8:30 a.m. each day of early voting. Hours will run until 5:00 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, until 6:00 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and until 2:00 p.m. on Saturdays. The early voting site will be closed on Sundays.
On the ballot are candidates for president and vice-president, United States Senate and House of Representatives, and Tennessee House of Representatives. Residents of the city of Tusculum will also vote for two commissioners.
Early voting runs from Wednesday, October 16 until Thursday, October 31. Daily updates on the number of early voters will be provided by the Election Commission.
