Monetary damage reports are still being gathered by EMA to submit to TEMA related to the flash flooding last weekend into Monday in Greene County.
As of 2:00 pm Thursday, local EMA Director Heather Sipe, Operations Officer Letisha Ricker and County Building Official Tim Tweed had completed and assessment and submitted reports to TEMA on eight reported homes or businesses damaged.
A report by Tweed at the time showed:

As far as other reported damages, there were six roads, one bridge, and debris clean up from mud and rock slides.
The Greene County Highway Department has reported to EMA Officials an estimated damage cost of $350,000.00. That exceeds the $340,938.72, county threshold set by the State of Tennessee for Public Assistance Damages.
Other departments that have reported to EMA Officials as of July 16 were Glen Hills Utility District, Baileyton Public Works, and Mosheim Public Works. Estimations of damages have been requested by the Tennessee Emergency Management Authority ( TEMA) by no later than Monday, July 20th from local Emergency Management Officials.
For a Disaster Declaration to be considered, the State of Tennessee must meet a threshold from all reporting counties of $13, 407,030.00
