Today (May 29) marks one year since Dwayne Wells was officially named President and CEO of the Greeneville Energy Authority.
A contract performance review will be held prior to the June meeting of the board.
In retirement news from the GEA Board meeting on Wednesday:
Mike Finchum will be retiring as Maintenance Manager in September after 36 years with the company. Jason Cook will be taking over that position.
Dale Bunch left has job last week as garage mechanic after 31 years. That position is being advertised.
Storm Damage Update
Operations Manager Robert Keller reported the storms May 17th resulted in 15 utility poles damaged. The following week he says, fifteen to twenty poles were replaced after more strong storms moved through the area.
