A Dunkin’ Donuts will be locating in Mosheim at Exit 23.
The fast food restaurant, that serves doughnuts, coffee and other breakfast foods, will be located in the Zoomerz gas station at the exit at 13245 W. Andrew Johnson Highway. The location was formerly a Subway.
The site plan for the restaurant was approved unanimously by the Mosheim Planning Commission Wednesday night.
Mosheim Community Planner Conor Franklin said that the Dunkin’ Donuts would go into the existing footprint of the building and no additions would be made to the structure.
The only changes that will be made at the site will be the addition of Dunkin’ Donuts signage, and a new canopy over the drive-through of the restaurant will be constructed.
An opening date for the restaurant has not been set.
