Another man was arrested Tuesday evening for driving under the influence after he was found passed out in a vehicle.
Officers responded to Greeneville Commons on Tusculum Boulevard and found Jason Gibson of Greeneville slumped over with the vehicle still running. Officers had to knock several times before he woke up. He was asked to exit the vehicle and an open container of beer was seen in the center console. Gibson reportedly performed poorly on sobriety tests and was arrested.
The vehicle was towed and an inventory was done. Officers located 3 glass pipes with residue, a scale, a baggie and container with a white powdery substance. He was charged with a DUI, Open Container Law, and Unlawful Drug Paraphernalia.
