Four meetings have been scheduled this month to discuss a Solar Energy Study, performed by the Tennessee Advisory Commission on Intergovernmental Relations.
The first round of meetings will be held on Monday, November 13 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The second round of meetings will be held on Thursday, November 16 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 pm. Both will be held at the Greene County Courthouse Annex, in the conference room on the first floor, located at 204 North Cutler Street.
The purpose of the meetings is to discuss the findings of the State Study and to receive input from the community on how to proceed with Solar Energy. Meetings will be held at a later date where proposed changes to the Greene County Solar Regulations will be discussed.
