The DEA National Takeback will be held at area locations on Saturday, April 26th.
This is the day citizens can turn in their unused or expired prescription drugs for safe disposal. Liquids and sharps can not be taken.
Takeback locations are:
Community Pharmacy 1402 Tusculum Boulevard
Mosheim Police Department – 230 Main Street, Mosheim
South Greene High School – 7469 Asheville Highway, Greeneville
Chuckey Doak High School – 365 Ripley Island Road, Afton
The event is sponsored locally by the Greene County Anti-Drug Coalition, Greene County Sheriff’s Department, Greeneville Police Department and the Mosheim Police Department.
