A bullet was found in the wall of a Mosheim home Monday after a victim from Valleydale Road called the Greene County Sheriff’s Department to report damage and vandalism.
According to the report, the victim said she found a hole in her wall. Upon further investigation, a bullet was found that appeared to be from a muzzleloader. Deputies believe due to the angle it could have come from a wooded area on the northwest side of the home.
Damage was done to the exterior wall and is estimated to be around $500. The victim did tell deputies she believes she knows who caused the damage but was unsure at that time.
