A Culbertson Road man faces numerous drugs and weapons related charges following a vehicle stop last night, a search which also led authorities to what they described as a pipe bomb.
The Greene County Sheriff’s Department reports they stopped a vehicle driven by Thomas W Freshour around 8:30 pm near his home.
A search of his person and the vehicle led to the discovery of marijuana, over a pound of methamphetamine, heroin, what was believed to be fentanyl along with various drug paraphernalia.
The search also led to the discovery of a handgun, scoped rifle and 12 gauge shotgun.
Officers also contacted the Morristown Explosive Ordinance Detection Unit when the pipe bomb was located.
Freshour is charged with possession of a firearm during commission of a felony, prohibited weapons by a convicted felon, driving while in possession of methamphetamine, the manufacture/delivery/sell of controlled substances, schedule 2 and schedule 1, simple possession of schedule 1 and schedule 6 drugs and unlawful drug paraphernalia.
