Following a presentation by North Greene at the January Greene County Board of Education Board meeting, students and staff from the three other county high schools made similar presentations at the April meeting last week.
CHUCKEY DOAK
Chuckey-Doak Agriculture Teacher Chase Murray and High School, Assistant Principal Dr. Christy Hoeke discussed the work that has gone into the new greenhouse on campus.
WEST GREENE
West Greene Assistant Principal Logan Minnick introduced English teacher T.J. Davis who worked with cosmetology instructor Robyn Shipley in a unique approach to teaching Chaucer’s Canterbury Tales.
West Greene human services teacher Stephanie Cox discussed how the students “cooked up solutions to feeding a family of 24”.
SOUTH GREENE
Greene County Sheriff’s Department Sgt. Jonathan Pierce had approached South Greene Ag Instructor Jeremiah Harrison about the engineering class building a battering ram for the Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected vehicle used by the Sheriff’s Department.
