One person was rushed to an area hospital for injuries sustained in a multi-vehicle crash which closed Highway 11-E in both directions near Grandview School Thursday.
The crash occurred between the Industrial Park and Grandview School in Washington County around 4 p.m.
Power in the nearby area was affected for a period of time as (pictured above) one of the vehicles involved crashed into a utility pole at the intersection.
Traffic was rerouted for several hours until emergency personnel cleared the scene at around 10:15 last night.
Washington County Sheriff’s Department Public Information Officer Susan Saylor confirmed to Radio Greeneville News this morning there were no fatal injuries and the accident investigation is still ongoing.
The Washington County Sheriff’s Department, THP, Limestone Volunteer Fire Department and EMS responded to the scene.
