A Greeneville couple reported a fraudulent account was opened up in their names.
The Bright Hope Road residents reported on Wednesday they were contacted through the mail about their identities being stolen. The suspect opened up a Speedy Cash account totaling $1,600 under the victims’ names and Social Security numbers.
According to the Greene County Sheriff’s Department report, the couple was unsure how the suspect got their information.
