Greene County Trustee Nathan Holt would like to remind citizens that they should be receiving their 2026 county property tax notices in the mail during the next couple of weeks. Payments for 2026 county property taxes will be accepted beginning on Monday, October 5, at the Greene County Trustee’s Office located inside of the Greene County Administration Center at 401 Takoma Ave., Suite 104, Greeneville, TN 37743.
Payment Options
- Online at www.tnproptax.com (select “Greene County Trustee” in the dropdown list).
- In person at the Greene County Trustee’s Office located inside the Greene County Administration Center at 401 Takoma Ave., Suite 104, Greeneville, TN 37743.
- By mailing check or money order to Greene County Trustee, 401 Takoma Ave., Suite 104, Greeneville, TN 37743 (please include tax notice stub to ensure proper processing)
- Pay by phone by calling 1-833-591-7184.
***Debit/credit card transactions will be charged a processing fee of 2.5% (plus $ .30 for phone payments). ACH transactions will be charged a processing fee of $1.25 (online) or $1.30 (phone). ***
