Counterfeit bills are making a resurgence ahead of the holiday buying season.
A man on Raymond Road told officers he had sold a Wii gaming system and controllers to someone who paid with a 100-dollar-bill. The victim gave the person two twenties in change, then realized after the person had left that the 100-dollar bill was fake.
The victim reported a neighbor had referred the subject, however, police were unable to make contact with the neighbor at the time of the report.
