Convicted Felon Back In Custody Following Greeneville Arrest

Gun and drugs found during traffic stop

A Morristown man, already a convicted felon, was taken into custody by Greeneville Police on several charges July 4th.

66 year old Jackie Keith Bowman faces local charges of:

Felony Manufacture/Delivery/Sale/Possession of Meth
Possession of a firearm during commission of a felony
Unlawful carry/possession of a weapon
Driving without a license

Charges were filed following a traffic stop on West Andrew Johnson Highway around 6 pm Friday.

Bowman admitted to having a gun in the vehicle and drugs on his person. A .410 gauge shotgun and 3.5 grams of meth were retrieved.

Bowman had been convicted n Sullivan County in 2011 as a Habitual Traffic Offender. He was back on probation at the time of his most recent arrest.
