The U.S. Forest Service is conducting a prescribed burn of around 2,000 acres in Weavers Bend.
Smoke will be seen in the South Greene area over the next couple of days while the controlled burn takes place. Other parts of the county are also reporting smoke from the controlled burn is being noticed in their areas as well.
