A Clarksville woman was arrested for DUI in Greene County early this morning.
A vehicle driven by Hanna Thomas of Warren Circle was clocked shortly after midnight going 80 mph in a 45 mph zone on West Andrew Johnson Highway. A traffic stop was initiated and an unopened beer was seen in the middle console.
Thomas reportedly had red eyes and slurred speech. She told police she had one beer. Thomas reportedly performed poorly on field sobriety tests. She also allegedly refused to give a blood sample, resulting in a warrant for a blood draw.
Thomas was transported to the Greene County Detention Center. She was charged with DUI 1st offense, violation of implied consent, violation of the financial responsibility law, registration violation, and speeding.
