The Greeneville City Council on Tuesday approved on first reading rezoning of 11 of 13 parcels on East Bernard from M-2 to B-4.
Plans for the rezoning had been forwarded to the City Council from the Planning Commission last week, but since that time, two property owners have said they would prefer to remain M-2 , Bryan Jones at he former Delfasco site near the Bernard and Church Street Intersection, and Paul Love, the owner of the Love School of Martial Arts on East Bernard at Walnut Street.
The planning department and two property owners plan to discuss possible zoning plans for both properties prior to the next meeting of the City Council.
