A Chuckey woman was arrested early Monday morning for burglary in Washington County.
According to Sheriff Keith Sexton, deputies responded to a home in the 2700 block of Highway 81 South around 3:30 am Monday. The homeowner stated alarms went off in her residence around 3:15 am.
Deputies cleared the home and began following a trail of items from the house into the adjacent field. They located 48-year-old Tonya Robinson lying in the grass next to a fallen tree. She was evaluated on the scene for injuries by EMS and then taken into custody without incident.
Robinson is being held on a $2,500 bond. A court date is scheduled for Tuesday, May 19.
