A Chuckey woman was arrested in Washington County for aggravated assault after she reportedly threatened to shoot another woman.
Washington County deputies responded to the 300 block of Pendleton Smith Road around 3:00 am Tuesday, August 4 for a theft report. Two women accused 40-year-old Jerika D. Davis of stealing prescription medication from their vehicle.
The two victims stated Davis pointed a gun at one of them and stated she was going to shoot her. Davis told deputies she did brandish the handgun, but it was not loaded. Deputies located the weapon along with two loaded magazines and a box of ammunition.
Davis was transported to the Washington County Detention Center for aggravated assault. Her bond was set at $20,000 prior to a court appearance Tuesday, August 4.
