Main Street Greeneville will host a meeting for all Christmas in Downtown partners and interested volunteers Tuesday, September 9th at 6:00 pm. The meeting will take place at the Main Street office, 310 S. Main St., the former Andrew Johnson School Building. Please share with others you think might have an interest in participating. Main Street coordinates the evening’s activities and with our community we want to discuss with our event partners what they feel their opportunities are for 2025 and to share their plans for the evening of December 5, 2025, when the signature event, Christmas in Downtown – A Holiday Celebrations kicks off the holiday season. Sharing of resources and looking at the event timeline will also be discussed.
All businesses, churches, civic organizations, musicians, choirs, artists, farmer market vendors, and individuals interested in Christmas in Downtown are asked to attend this meeting and share your planned participation so that the initial plans and timeline can be compiled and reviewed. For those not able to attend we would ask that you please forward your information via email to [email protected] prior to meeting so your plans may be added to the evening’s schedule.
Organizers state, “While the event is something our community looks forward to each year, we often wonder what other things might be added to the evening’s festivities to create more and better hometown holiday memories.”
