A catalytic converter was cut out from a vehicle on the 4800 block of East Andrew Johnson Highway.
A deputy responded to the scene on Wednesday morning to the report of motor vehicle theft parts. They spoke with the victim who said when he turned on his vehicle he noticed it was very loud. He then reportedly discovered someone cut the catalytic converter off of the vehicle.
According to the report, the theft occurred sometime between 4:30 PM on Tuesday and Wednesday morning. Video footage was available but no suspects were confirmed at the time of the report.
