A total of $120 was stolen from a cash register Friday afternoon, according to Greeneville police.
A man wearing a white tank top and jeans went into a business in the 400 block of Tusculum Boulevard around noon on Friday and asked if they were hiring. An employee went to find out and returned to discover that the man was gone. Some time later, she noticed that six $20 bills were missing from the drawer.
The employee believes that the suspect came around the counter and opened the register to remove the cash. There was no video available.
