Police are investigating a report of theft of a motor vehicle some time Thursday night.
The victim has parked his vehicle in a restaurant parking lot on East Andrew Johnson Highway Friday, to ride with a friend. When the victim returned, the car, a white Toyota Matrix, was gone. The car held various tools, valued at over $400.
The vehicle is a white four-door car, Toyota Matrix, with license plate number BNX-2481.
