The Camp Creek Ruritan Club recently donated $10,000 to AIDNET of Greene County to help continue with the long-term recovery efforts from the September floods.
Ruritan President Tim Smithson presented Wayne Bettis a check for $10,000 on Friday. Bettis was one of a group of volunteers that started AIDNET in 2001 to help with flooding that occurred in Greene County at that time. AIDNET was later reactivated following the tornadoes of 2011.
