Burglary was reported from a Mosheim home on Little Chuckey Road this morning after 2 AM.
Deputies responded and spoke with the victim who said the safe in her bedroom was missing but nothing else in the residence seemed to be disturbed and there was no apparent forced entry. The victim states she was almost positive all doors and windows were locked before she left the home that day.
According to the report, the victim believes whoever stole the safe had knowledge of it and a possible suspect was named in the report. The safe included several documents including a birth certificate, vet records, as well as keys and $3,000 in cash. Video footage will be requested from a neighbor.
