Police were dispatched to Burns Street around 9:00 Friday morning regarding an attempted burglary at Greene County Kubota.
Officers spoke to an employee who said he had gone to open the gate and noticed the hinges had been broken. Video footage showed at approximately 11:00 PM, Thursday, a silver SUV with a trailer stopped in front of the gate on the Bohannon Avenue side. The driver turned on the flashers, and appeared to work under the hood, while a passenger exited the vehicle and started messing with the gate. The employee reported the vehicle left and came back several times, then just before midnight a male entered the property and walked around the mowers.
At the time of the report, however, nothing appeared to be missing.
