Brian Cutshall will serve as host/MC at the upcoming Youth Builders Trivia Night Event. Brian has worked in newspaper and broadcast for 35 years, and is currently Director of Digital Operations for Adams Publishing Company TN-NC-VA, which is headquartered at The Greeneville Sun. Brian has won state awards in journalism, website development, videography, and advertising.
After graduating from South Greene High School and the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, Brian was news director and popular talk show host of WSMG AM-FM in Greeneville for 13 years. After that, he served as Marketing Director of XTN Internet and Telephone Company, which was the largest Internet Service Provider in the Tri-Cities.
Brian is a former president of the Greene County Chapter of the American Red Cross, the Volunteer Center of Greeneville-Greene County, and the Greeneville Noon Rotary Club. He received Leadership Greene County’s “Outstanding Leadership Award” in 2018, and was named “Greeneville Sun Volunteer of the Year” in 2022. He is a long-time favorite personality of Youth Builders, having previously hosted several of their events.
Modern Woodmen will match funds up to $2,500 for funds raised at Trivia Night. These matching funds will be designated to support the Youth Builders Kidprint-ID program for new equipment and supplies needed to continue this popular youth safety project.
Trivia Night will be held at Link Hills Country Club Saturday, February 25. Registration and a heavy finger-food buffet will begin at 6:00 p.m. with the Trivia Competition beginning at 7:00 p.m. A team table is $600, or individual tickets are available for $75 each.
