On May 29th, the Greeneville City Board of Education approved the renaming of the former Greene Tech Center. Tuesday afternoon, the board approved branding for the newly named Greeneville Career And Technical Academy.
Using the same process and the same company, Donovan Group, which helped in the renaming, the school board granted approval of logos to be used for all branding related to the facility.
The primary seal design includes the name of the school and uses Greeneville High School colors. The trident connects with the GHS use of the devil mascot. The three points of the trident are intended to reflect how the school and community support and uplift students.
Variations of the new brand will be used for apparel and for the various course offerings at the Career and Technical Academy.
