A detached garage on Bolton Road property was heavily damaged by fire Wednesday afternoon, but firefighters report they were able to quickly knockdown the fire and limit damage to the nearby home.
Units from the Tusculum, Limestone and Newmansville Volunteer Fire Departments responded to the 4:30 pm call along with the Debusk Volunteer Fire Department rehab and the Greene County Sheriff’s Department. A Sheriff’s Department report issued this morning indicated the fire had been turned over to Fire Investigator Bryan Shelton. The report indicated a child had just exited the structure before the fire was discovered. There was no power running to the garage.
