The body of a woman found last week in the West Pines area has been identified.
The woman has been identified as 27-year-old Le’Keyshia Bracy of Chesterfield, Virginia. Bracy had been reported missing by family to the Chesterfield County Police Department.
Hunters on the property in the West Pines area came across Bracy’s body on Thursday afternoon. The Greene County Sheriff’s Department responded to the scene and Bracy’s body was sent to ETSU’s William L. Jenkins Forensic Center for positive identification.
The cause of Bracy’s death is still under investigation, but no foul play is suspected.
