Law Enforcement out of Erwin have said a body was found Friday in the Nolichucky River, believed to be a missing man they were searching for.
Late Thursday evening, police in Erwin were looking for 26-year-old Aaron Pierson, who had warrants for his arrest. According to police, he had fled from officers Thursday at the Shell station on Temple Hill Road.
