An alarm went off at Greeneville Federal Bank this morning before 5 AM where officers found a truck with a chain attached to an ATM.
According to the report, the Greeneville Police Department responded to the ATM burglary alarm on the 900 block of Tusculum Boulevard. Upon arrival, they found the truck that was reportedly still running and had its driver’s front door open. The ignition also appeared to be damaged. It was discovered that the 2002 Ford Truck was previously stolen.
The ATM was allegedly destroyed and looked as if it was forced open with its contents stolen. No suspects were known at the time of the report and no further information was provided.
