Police arrested a man early this morning, on criminal trespass charges and vandalism. Officers noticed a shirtless male sitting in the passenger seat of a parked car on Ocean Boulevard and made contact with the man.
He was identified as Bobby V. Norton of Whitehouse Road and was found to be only wearing underwear, and according to the report had slow movements and slurred speech. He said the name of the victim, when asked whose car he was sitting in. The victim told police Norton did not have permission to be in her vehicle.
An investigation found that Norton had thrown up in the cup holder of the vehicle and wiped it on various locations of the car, as well; and had been previously trespassed from the Ravenwood community.
Norton was transported to the Greene County Detention Center and was charged with public intoxication, criminal trespassing and vandalism.
