A man was taken into custody for public intoxication at around 11:00 Saturday morning, after police were called for a man who kept screaming for help.
Officers went to North Main Street for a wellness check, and located Joshua Lane of Lakeshore Park, who allegedly admitted he was the one screaming for help. He reportedly told officers there was a man in the sewer who kept threatening him. According to the report, Lane had pinpoint pupils and performed poorly on a field sobriety test. It was deemed Lane was a danger to himself and the public when he was placed into custody.
