Some area fire departments have been busy this week responding to a number of field fires, many aided by the windy conditions.
The Tusculum Volunteer Fire Department responded to a call on Old Jonesboro Road around mid afternoon Thursday and were able to contain a fire to the field without damage to nearby structures.
