The National Weather Service has issued another Cold Weather Advisory for the area, as temperatures are expected to fall into the single digits Monday night.
The advisory will be in effect from 7:00 PM Monday through 10:00 AM Tuesday. The low will be around 9 degrees. Wind chills will be near 0, with wind chills in the higher elevations as low as 10 below.
Tuesday’s forecast calls for a high of 24 degrees, with a low around 4.
Be sure to dress warmly and limit time outdoors. Make sure pets have warm shelter and bedding.
It is also recommended to leave a water faucet dripping overnight to prevent pipes from freezing.
