One person died and another person was flown from the scene of a wreck on the Newport Highway Friday evening.
The accident happened just before 8:00 PM near the Kiser Loop intersection in the 7600 block.
The Caney Branch Volunteer Fire Department, Greeneville Emergency & Rescue Squad, EMS, Sheriff’s Department, and the Tennessee Highway Patrol responded.
