A local business on West Andrew Johnson Highway was burglarized overnight.
Greeneville Police responded to Honda Greeneville around 11:00 PM Friday night, after an alarm was activated. While checking the building, officers noticed the side door inside the locked gate was partially open.
The keyholder was called and officers went inside to find the door damaged. After the keyholder pulled footage from the exterior cameras, the video reportedly showed a person climb the side fence at 10:13 pm. The person took a shovel and began prying at the door, then used the shovel to move the camera at the side-door. The unknown person then utilized a pry bar on the door, but after the door opened, ran and jumped back over the fence once the alarm started.
The person on the footage was a suspected white male, wearing a white flat billed hat, a red sleeveless t-shirt, and jeans.
Nothing was listed as stolen at the time of the report.
