Towering Oaks Christian School in Greeneville will be closed Monday due to widespread illness affecting students and staff that has aggressively progressed since Friday morning and continued over the weekend.
A note on the school website says T.O.C.S. will be closed and all extra curricular events are cancelled for Monday.
The notice advises please take time to rest, fully follow medical professionals orders and take temperatures on Tuesday morning before students return to help insure the safety of others.
As per the school handbook policy, students are not to return unless they are fever free for 24 hours without medication and other indicative symptoms.
