Greene County Commission candidate interviews begin on this Thursday on Radio Greeneville.
Interviews with candidates for Greene County Commission District 1 will air this morning after the 10:00 am news update on 99.5 FM/AM 1340 WGRV and wgrv.com.
DISTRICT 1 CANDIDATES
Only one of three incumbents in the first commission district is seeking reelection, Republican Kathy Crawford. Nick Gunter and Tim White chose not to run again in 2026. Other Republican candidates on the May ballot are Bryan Henderson, David McLain, Kaleb Powell and Dale “Bud” Tucker. Christopher Stone is also running for County Commissioner in the first district, which serves Baileyton, Ottway and West Pines. As an independent however, he will not be on the ballot until the August General Election.

Thursday, April 23 – District 6 – McDonald – Mosheim
Friday, April 24 – District 7 – Glenwood – High School
