Towering Oaks Christian School will be closed the remainder of the week.
When they returned to school today after being closed Monday, the absenteeism for illness was 70% for preschool and 45% for K-12
School officials says based on those numbers and potential incubation periods for the illnesses, the school will be closed for the remainder of this week, Wednesday-Friday, Jan 29-31. All extra curricular activities, including practices and games, will be canceled this week as well for the safety of our students.
The school will be adding February 18, March 24, and April 21 to the Towering Oaks school calendar this year as educational student days to avoid the loss of learning this week as students and families recover.
