Other charges and arrests were made over the weekend, including several warrant arrests.
Rickey Hensley was arrested on East Church Street, and Ulysses Garcia Escobar of Housely Avenue, were both arrested for a violation of probation warrants. Penny Powers of South Rufe Taylor Road was taken into custody Saturday evening at Big Lots, for an outstanding warrant, as well.
Roger Wade of the Kingsport Highway in Afton, was placed under arrest Saturday afternoon in the 2700 block of East Andrew Johnson Highway, for driving under the influence.
