An all-electric zero turn mower manufactured in Greeneville has been eliminated from The Coolest Thing Made In Tennessee contest.

The John Deere Z370r Electric Zero Turn Mower made it to the top 8, but failed to make it to the top 4 that were announced today.

The Top 4 finalists are:

1. Eastman Tritan™ Renew,  recycled plastic
2. American Paper Optics Eclipse Glasses
3. DENSO Phone As A Key (PAAK), which uses an app instead of a key for vehicles
4. Nissan Rogue

The Tennessee Chamber and Tennessee Manufacturers Association, in partnership with the University of Tennessee Center for Industrial Services, Chattanooga Regional Manufacturers Association, and Smart Factory Institute Tennessee, launched the light-hearted competition which saw over 100 submissions showcasing Tennessee’s business and manufacturing community.

Voting for the Top 4 starts Tuesday, July 9 and runs through Wednesday, July 24. The winner
will be announced on Thursday, July 25 at a luncheon and expo in Cleveland, Tennessee.

Voting for the top four can be found at: https://coolestthingmadeintn.com/vote/
