Photographers across Tennessee can now submit entries for the 11th annual Wildlife and Nature Photo Contest.
Organized by the Tennessee Wildlife Federation, the contest invites photographers of all skill levels to showcase their vision of the Volunteer State’s great outdoors—from sweeping mountain vistas and curious native wildlife to everyday moments of outdoor adventure.
This year introduces an exciting new category: People in Nature. Whether it’s a quiet morning fishing on the river, a family hike along a wooded trail, or the thrill of a hunt or birdwatching expedition, the Federation wants to see how Tennesseans experience and connect with the natural world. Thanks to support from Bass Pro Shops stores of Tennessee, this category will feature special first, second, and third-place prizes.
Photographers can enter up to three images with a $10 suggested donation, or submit unlimited entries for $25. All proceeds support the Federation’s mission to conserve wildlife and protect the state’s natural heritage.
Entries are open until August 31, giving participants a chance to capture those final summer moments before the seasons shift.
