Our conversation with Greear came at the end of an event held in the Big Spring Room in the Greeneville/Greene County Library.
Also in attendance was Alex Wyss, Executive Director of the Tennessee State Parks Conservancy, which is working as the private fund-raising partner for Tennessee State Parks to assist in the park rebirth specifically the museum.

Will Vogt is with the Friends of David Crockett Birthplace State Park and says it’s exciting to hear and see what’s planned for the future of the park.
