Nearly $15,000 worth of tools were reported stolen over the weekend from a construction site at the Greene Valley Business Park on Edens Road in Afton.
Upon arrival at the Eternal Water location Monday morning, a lock on a box trailer had been cut off and at least 33 items, sets of hand tools, power tools and other equipment, with a total value of $14.517.00 had been taken. The tools were the property of MB&R Contractors of Morristown.
The Greene County Sheriff’s Department filed the initial report, then turned the information over to Tusculum Police who will take over the case in their jurisdiction.
