An investigation by detectives with the Greene County Sheriff’s Department and the TN Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force has resulted in the arrest of a Greene County man on charges of child pornography.
The investigation began earlier this year with a Cybertip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children involving child sexual abuse material. The suspect was identified as 56 year old Timothy Glenn Hart of Shelton Mission Road in Greene County. Hart had been previously jailed for Violation of the Sex Offender Registry on September 2 of this year with a bond of $10,000.
Through the ongoing investigation, Hart’s electronic device was examined to reveal CSAM. In addition, investigators learned that Hart had distributed CSAM to another person.
On November 10, 2025, a Greene County Grand Jury handed down a presentment/capias on Timothy Hart for the following charges:
• Aggravated Sexual Exploitation of a Minor
• Sexual Exploitation of a Minor
The judge set Hart’s bond for the new charges at $75,000. Hart remains in the Greene County Detention Center and is set for arraignment on these new charges in Greene County Criminal Court on January 16 at 9:00 am.
