Dutch Brothers Coffee, created in 1992 in Oregon, plans to locate a drive-thru in Greeneville in a unique location, the same shopping center as Lowe’s on East Andrew Johnson Highway.
The Greeneville Regional Planning Commission Tuesday approved gave consent for a two lot minor subdivision plat for the location, running parael to the highway near the entrance to the Lowe’s location at the signal light.
The commission later granted preliminary and final approval of a site plan for construction of the 1,083 square foot building which would include a two lane drive through, but only after discussion about traffic concerns as they pertain to congestion near the entrance.
