A mobile home at 790 Duncan Lane in Chuckey was destroyed by fire overnight.
Units from the Tusculum, Newmansville and Limestone Volunteer Fire Departments, with support from the Debusk Volunteer Fire Department rehab unit responded to the scene.
Also responding to the Greene County 9-1-1 12:50 am dispatch were Chaplain Danny Ricker, Greeneville Energy Authority, the Red Cross , EMS and Sheriff’s Department.
A Greene County Sheriff’s Department report indicates the fire may have originated near the fireplace. Both Donna and Christopher Patton were able to escape unharmed.
